Jim has been serving and advising the agricultural industry for over 40 years. A trained biologist and seasoned veteran of the commodity markets, Jim supports agricultural businesses of all sizes with expertise spanning global commodity markets to the quality and composition of every ingredient sold. Before founding Tofco Ag., he served as President of the Cereal Byproducts Company in Mt. Prospect, IL.
In his free time, Jim can usually be found volunteering at his local church or chasing after one of his twelve grandchildren.
Jon brings over 15 years of experience in banking, lending, and insurance. A licensed CPA, he specializes in financial strategy, risk management, and operational excellence. Since joining Tofco Ag. in 2022, Jon has helped drive sustainable growth and strengthen financial reporting.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his family and volunteering at church.
Sue founded Tofco Ag with her husband Jim Tofilon in 2012. She was the first Accounting Manager for Tofco Ag. Currently she sits on the board of directors as Executive Vice President.
Kyle joined the Tofco Ag. team in 2019. Graduating from NIU with his BS in Science, he finished his 18 year hockey career playing for the Huskies. Experienced in trading ingredients like hominy, lactose, and whey permeate, Kyle always goes the extra mile for our customers.
His hobbies include spending time with his wife and children, as well as looking for his next outdoor adventure.
Margaret has been an Ingredient Trader for Tofco Ag. since 2018. Highly experienced in the gelatin & collagen industry, she believes customer service is the keystone of success.
Spiros brings a unique blend of analytical thinking and relationship-driven experience to the team. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Marketing from North Central College and has over nine years of experience in sales and customer service. Prior to joining Tofco Ag., Spiros spent four years with the Cardinals, competing in Cross Country and Track.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and exploring new destinations.
Tim joined the team in the summer of 2024 and is based in St. Louis, Missouri. He brings over seven years of experience in the food and beverage industry and an entrepreneurial mindset. His focus includes cheese products, dairy proteins, retail and foodservice items, as well as short-dated and expired ingredients. Prior to Tofco Ag., Tim owned and operated a marketing and sales firm, working with Fortune 500 companies on new customer acquisition.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending his kids’ sporting events, and golfing.
Jack is our newest trader, joining us in 2025. Jack graduated from the University of Iowa, double majoring in Business Analytics and Finance. Before joining Tofco Ag., Jack worked with his father in restaurant brokering, learning the key aspects of making sales and communicating with clients.
Outside of the office you can find Jack working out at the gym, playing volleyball, or playing video games with his older brother. If you can’t see him, you can probably hear him laughing from a few miles away.
Michael joined Tofco Ag. in 2020 after spending several years at a large agricultural trading company. He has a bachelors degree in Finance from Miami University and specializes in feed ingredients across the Midwest and Mississippi River Delta.
